1G were learning about latitude and longitude

In order to comprehend the features of lines of latitude and lines of longitude students drew them on… apples!

The first graders were also  learning how to give and read coordinates. To make it fun, they could draw the shapes of animals (on condition they had given the correct coordinates!) 😉
