We poured some milk into a saucer and added some drops of food dye.
Then we dipped a cotton bud in washing-up liquid and placed it in the middle of the milk.
The dye doesn’t mix well with milk, but when washing-up liquid is added it allows them to mix together more quickly.
We had fun making beautiful colourful patterns.
