We were cleaning up the neighbourhood of our school – the pitch of Wojskowa Akademia Techniczna and the nearby forest. We collected approximately 10 bags of garbage. The volunteers were upset as we found a lot o empty bottles, plastic, a tyre, old clothes and even… a computer!
Clean Up The World campaign is celebrated globally on the 3rd weekend in September each year. It was established in 1993 and mobilises an estimated 35 million volunteers from 120 countries annually, making it one of the largest community-based environmental campaigns in the world.
Pro Futuro Middle School is proud to be part of this campaign.
