We were staying in Camden Town – an inner-city district of London, 4 km north of the centre of London. We were accommodated in very comfortable apartments with spacious lounges and modern kitchens which we explored… as we cooked ourselves!
To feel more like real Londoners, we were taking the famous tube. It was an unforgettable experience! … We got lost only twice 😉
On our trip we visited Big Ben (The Elizabeth Tower), 10 Downing Street, the City and Buckingham Palace.
We were really lucky to watch the Changing of the Guards peacefully. The crowds weren`t as massive as usual! Later, we admired the wax figures of celebrities, politicians, cartoon characters and artists at Madame Tussauds.
We won`t forget the beautiful walks along the Thames River with Tower Bridge and Millenium Bridge. Though some complained about blisters 😉
On our last day we spend s o m e money at Oxford Street. Yes, dear parents, only "some" money 😉
All in all, it was worth going to London!
